As a new manager, I was seeking a
team building experience for us that did not involve competition of any kind
but rather focussed on collaboration and cooperation for our activity to be
successful. Learning the “Zorba” dance fitted the bill. A few tricky dance
moves had us all concentrating furiously on what our feet were doing, we each
suffered impatience and frustration as we struggled to master the routine, and
then we built up quite a sweat as we practised until we were happy enough to
video ourselves in action, and laugh and enjoy. Theo and Cristina were great –
friendly and responsive. They provided live music and instruction that was just
right for what we wanted – to link arms and do something fun all together! The
